Spring Open Gardens at Eccleshall Castle

A rare opportunity to explore the private grounds of a historic landmark

Enjoy a delightful day out this spring as the beautiful grounds of Eccleshall Castle open to the public, by kind permission of the Carter-Motley family. This is a rare and much-loved chance to stroll through the private gardens of one of Eccleshall’s most iconic historic buildings while soaking up the seasonal beauty of nature in bloom.

Refreshments will be available on-site, with a charming tearoom offering hot drinks and light bites (please note: limited disabled access to the tearoom).

Four-legged family members are more than welcome – dogs must be well-behaved, kept on a lead at all times, and are allowed in the outdoor areas only.

A small amount of on-site parking is available for Disabled Badge holders and visitors with limited mobility.
