John Turnock – A History of Local Glassmaking and Glass Blowing

Join us at Eccleshall Community Lounge for a fascinating talk about how glass manufacture was introduced to Bishops Wood in 1580, when the area was found to be rich in the raw materials required for the glass making process. This talk takes place on Thursday 19th June, 2025, 2-4pm.
