Exhibiting Artists – 20th to 25th June

Peter Walker
We are delighted to welcome Peter Walker back to the festival. Alongside his striking paintings, Peter will be exhibiting a selection of his remarkable bronze sculptures. Peter has served as Artistic Director for four national cathedrals and is renowned for creating work that combines imagination, craftsmanship and a deep sense of place.

Gill Douce
A respected local artist, Gill works primarily in oil and acrylic. Having studied at the Royal Drawing School in London and the St Ives School of Painting’s Porthmeor Programme, she draws inspiration from everyday life, family connections and found photographs. Her work explores simplification, abstraction and the expressive power of colour, resulting in paintings that are both thoughtful and visually engaging.

Helen Cartlidge
Helen studied at Wolverhampton School of Art and is a founding member of Gallery 12. Her distinctive paintings often reflect her long-standing fascination with Chinese drawing and mark-making, creating works that are elegant, expressive and rich in atmosphere.

Patricia Powis
Having lived in Eccleshall for the past five years, Patricia is well known for her portrait commissions. Her ability to capture personality and character has made her a sought-after portrait artist, and visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a selection of her work during the exhibition.

Whether you’re an avid art lover, a casual visitor, or simply curious to see the work of talented artists, this exhibition offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy art in a truly special setting.
