Alex Podestra: A Masterclass in the Argentine Tango

Step into the rhythm and romance of Buenos Aires, right here in Eccleshall! As part of this year’s Eccleshall Arts Festival, we’re thrilled to present a Masterclass in the Argentine Tango with the passionate and talented Alex Podestra.

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or simply fancy giving something new a try, this fun and welcoming session promises to be a highlight of the festival. Alex brings years of experience in teaching and performing this expressive and elegant dance form – known for its musicality, connection, and flair.

The Argentine Tango is much more than a dance – it’s a conversation between partners, a celebration of movement and music, and an unforgettable cultural experience. Alex will guide you through the basics, focusing on posture, steps, rhythm and flow, all delivered in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
